Our Este Turkey breast augmentation team is comprised of board-certified plastic surgeons. We encourage you to connect with us to arrange a consultation with our experienced surgeons.
Breast augmentation, also known as breast enlargement, is a surgical procedure that uses saline, silicone, or cohesive gel implants to increase the size, fullness, and shape of the breasts.
There many different options available to you in terms of breast implant size, shape, composition, and placement. Our experienced team will be able to advise you on the most suitable implants based on your height, weight, and body frame.
Silicone implants are the most popular for a few reasons; many women choose them because they have a thicker shell and a thicker gel inside. Silicone implants have the reputation of looking more natural than saline implants. An Este consultation will provide you with information on all the implant options available.
Implants can be inserted either under or on top of the pectoralis muscle. The muscle provides soft tissue coverage and helps shape the upper portion of the breast. Placing an implant under the muscle is beneficial for women who do not have a lot of natural tissue because it can provide a more real-looking appearance. However, if you have a good amount of breast tissue, or choose the softer saline implant, your surgeon may suggest placing the implant on top of the muscle.
There are two different incision types. The implant can be inserted through a small incision at the lower border of the nipple area (called the areola), or through a small incision in the fold under your breast (called the inframammary crease). An initial consultation is necessary before any actual surgery is scheduled. This initial consultation is important, as treatment goals, aftercare, and any concerns should be discussed before booking the procedure.
At our Este Medical Group facility in Istanbul. Our surgeons have a minimum of 10 years' experience.
With any surgery there are some risks. For breast implants it could be scar tissue that forms around the implant and squeezes the implant. Also, there is the potential for breast pain, changes in the nipples, and variations in breast sensation. All known risks will be fully explained before any plans for surgery.
During a consultation, our Este team will discuss the best possible outcome in relation to implant size and your body shape before moving forward
After surgery, it is important you rest as much as possible and do not do any exercise. Do not get your bandages wet for the first 48 hours. After the first week, you can start slowly with very light exercise and doing small tasks, but you should avoid upper body workouts for six weeks. Este Medical Group will provide you with a clearly detailed aftercare guide.
